Meet Audie the Internal Otteror®! Audie was an unexpected but very welcome member of the Audit Forward family - here is more of his story!

I've been called an "internal otteror" for years. I've always been one to be silly, have mascots, and look for an opportunity to celebrate even the smallest victory -- so embracing the term 'internal otteror' was a natural fit.

When I founded Audit Forward, I wanted to have a silly but lovable mascot by my side - and Audie was born! Audie helps  me teach others about internal audit, risk, and ethics in a fun and approachable way!

Joining the Audit Forward family in 2025 was Fraudie the Internal Fraudster - Audie's evil twin

Never one to pass on a pun, Elizabeth created Fraudie to help educate her students and trainees about fraud - how to spot fraud red flags, perform fraud risk assessments, and more.

Fraudie makes us all smile with his oversized handlebar mustache, tie, and top hat, but don't be fooled -- he's a trickster!
